The qualities of talks at Adv. ESCC 2024 were wide-ranging, and in my experience engaging and well presented. The sheer number though made for a very intense day and with relatively little time to delve deeper and explore specific topics and general themes, which I would have appreciated. Some of the topics were relatively new to me and I was grateful to see them so well-articulated. Moreover, I was impressed by the diversity of topics and geographical range of speakers and yet all relevant to the theme of the conference.
